Piper adds more brand experts

Piper adds two more consumer brand experts to its team.

Piper, a leading specialist in consumer brands with strong growth potential, has recruited Annabel Feather and Jacqui Unsworth to its in-house team.

Annabel Feather has joined as Associate Partner (Talent) to help build outstanding management capabilities and teams within Piper’s portfolio businesses and to further develop its expertise in assessing prospective management teams.

A former business analyst at McKinsey & Co, Feather was Head of Brand Marketing at Asda before joining Cobalt Partners where she focused on recruiting chairmen and CEOs for private equity clients in the consumer sector.

Having previously spent eight years at Piper, Jacqui Unsworth has rejoined the team as Associate Partner (Marketing), bringing more than 25 years of experience in brand repositioning, new concept development, customer insight and change management. She will also sit on the board of Diet Chef, one of Piper’s fast-growing portfolio companies.

After beginning her career as a management consultant at Coopers & Lybrand Associates, Unsworth has held a number of senior retail strategy roles at corporations such as Abbey National, Storehouse and Liberty plc.

Libby Gibson, a partner at Piper, said: “We are delighted that Annabel and Jacqui have joined the Piper team. We are confident that their skills, knowledge and expertise in their respective fields will enormously benefit Piper and provide high added value to our investee companies.”
