The Piper Podcast: Have you listened to our founder stories?

With lockdown coming to an end, we thought this is a good time to showcase all the outstanding founders we have interviewed for our ‘How I Grew My Brand’ podcast series. Click here to listen to the inspiring brand stories from the founders of Bloom & Wild, Mindful Chef, Proper, Deliciously Ella, Neom Organics, Sipsmith, Camden Town Brewery, Gymbox, Frame, Charlie Bigham’s, The Collective, Loungers and Flight Club.

We launched the series in 2018 to tell the stories of founders who have grown some of Britain’s most disruptive consumer brands. The idea was to show the link between the personal and business challenges founders face when scaling their businesses, which we have witnessed from over 35 years of working with them. Over the three seasons, we have showcased their exciting and emotional entrepreneurial journeys to provide other founders with useful insights into the highs and the lows of building a brand and how best to navigate them. Each episode is structured around 7, 17, 70 – the inflexion points we’ve observed that entrepreneurs face, whether that be the number of people, turnover or stores.

The podcasts are hosted by broadcaster Mary Nightingale. On the back of her career-long fascination with entrepreneurial storytelling, she brings her journalistic interviewing skills to the podcast in a manner that disarms founders and allows them to tell their story in a natural and engaging way. We are currently planning Series 4 and we would love your feedback. Please tell us what you think we could improve or what you enjoy most about the podcasts: georgia@piper.co.uk.

If you are a fan, please could we also ask you to vote for the Listeners’ Award at the British podcast Awards: britishpodcastawards.com/vote.

Hope you enjoy the wonderful stories.
